"Many thanks from two very happy children, we took our two grandchildren to the rink on Monday evening 21/11/09 and they absolutely loved it. We all signed the petition and we hope you are successful with it. The setting is fantastic and for many first time visitors to York the facility can only add to what is a magical place. (If it was in Central Park New York it could not be any better.) To all the staff we met a big thank you they were excellent and the cafe/bar was also a big bonus for us none skaters. Once again thank you and the kids are already planning the next visit during the Christmas break. P.S it was great to see so many young people enjoying themselves without a hint of trouble and no bad language a real treat in this day and age."

"I came with my family on Saturday and we had a great time slipping and sliding our way round the rink. We were impressed with how pretty it all looks, how smoothly the session ran and how helpful the marshals are. The penguins are excellent for little ones and make it more accessible for families with younger members. My husband asked if you could provide big Bobos for adults! I hope you are able to return to the eye of York again next year, or alternatively find another suitable site. It really is a great winter tradition. Always smiling and full of fun, as none of the guides had skated before, they were very nervous, your marshalls showed them what to do and they were off, not so the leaders! As soon as they fell they were scooped up off the ice and away again.
