Ice Skating is a great way to stay fit and healthy. As well as helping to build strong bones and joints, it also helps to reduce fat and build lean muscle. Our school group package is ideal for giving your pupils a magical and memorable experience over the Christmas period. They are guaranteed a fun and festive atmosphere, with York’s biggest Christmas tree, theatrical lighting making the rink sparkle, and special compilations from Minster FM to really get them dancing on ice!

SCHOOLS PACKAGE:
As part of our fantastic schools package, your school can enjoy:
- A 15 minute structured ice skating lesson with our NISA approved, First Steps to Skating, Ice Coach with exclusive use of the rink honoured for groups of 20+*. Children will learn basic skating skills, allowing them to enjoy the rest of their 1 hour session as a free skate under supervision with the Ice Coach and our Ice Marshals on hand to offer skating tips.
- All School groups will receive a safety briefing and leave with a certificate in recognition of their achievement on the ice.
- The knowledge that your pupils can skate within a fun and safe environment; helmets are mandatory in our structured lessons and all our Ice Coaches are NISA-approved and CRB checked.
- The Ice Factor welcomes school groups of all ages and skating ability, with no minimum group size**.
- Teacher goes free!
- This option is available Monday to Friday on all sessions up to and including 3:30pm.
- A child is 16 years and under.
- Available from 26th November to 14th December 2012.

PARTY PACKAGE:
Schools Package plus:
- Warm up after your skate in our glassfronted rinkside Ice Bar and Café with a steaming cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows & a yummy cookie.
