Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland is an exciting event based on the outskirts of the beautiful City of York.

Incorporating The Ice Factor, York’s award-winning ice rink, an authentic British funfair and Santa’s grotto, Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland will be sure to get you in the festive mood with its stunning theatrical lighting and picturesque setting.

The Ice Factor is one of York’s favourite Christmas attractions and becomes the centrepiece for this new event. Now in its eighth year, the North of England’s largest outdoor ice rink is turned into a winter wonderland village, with decorative cabins surrounding the rink, an illuminated forest with reindeer, and a 30ft giant Christmas tree in the centre of the rink.

And to enhance the visitor experience, an authentic funfair will sit alongside the ice offering rides for all ages, including children’s rides and games stalls.

Food and drink will be served throughout the day at the rinkside Ice Bar and Café, offering a range of hot and cold food using locally sourced produce, and a large choice of wines, spirits, beers, soft drinks and winter warmers such as mulled wine, Sloe Gin or hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream!

Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland also offers the chance for children to meet Santa Claus in his grotto.

Set within the landscaped grounds of York Designer Outlet, Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland offers ample free parking, over 120 shops inside the outlet and conveniently located just off the A64/A19 interchange.

Santa’s Grotto Opening Times:

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1^st to 14^th December 12pm till 5pm.

Thursday 6^th and 13^th December, 10am till 2pm.

From 15^th to 23^rd December, 12pm till 6pm.

Christmas Eve 12pm till 5pm.
