skate

The Ice Factor – the north of England’s largest outdoor ice rink – celebrates its 10th birthday this year and with its giant Christmas tree forms the heart of Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland, surrounded by an illuminated forest, picturesque log cabins and a viewing platform. New this year is a nursery rink where young skaters can take their first steps on the ice before venturing onto the main rink.

play

There’s excitement for everyone at the funfair, with brand new rides and games stalls offering prizes galore! Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a visit to Santa and this year he has a stunning new grotto, with a theatrical wintry setting and a special gift for every child. Beside the rink, a street of wooden cabins depicting wintry fairytale scenes will enchant young and old alike.
