Ice Skating is a great way to stay fit and healthy. As well as helping to build strong bones and joints, it also helps to reduce fat and build lean muscle. Our school group package is ideal for giving your pupils a magical and memorable experience over the Christmas period. They are guaranteed a fun and festive atmosphere, with York’s biggest Christmas tree, theatrical lighting making the rink sparkle, all under the supervision of our Ice Marshals.

Children's Parties

Want to treat your child this Christmas? Need an exciting alternative to the usual birthday party? Why not bring them down to The Ice Factor! Our children’s party package ensures your group has a fun and memorable party in a safe and magical environment. We will make a special announcement on the rink wishing the birthday boy/girl a personal happy birthday, as well as offering the option of dedicated party space in our Ice Café for a pre-booked party package.

Need to plan your next society social? Looking to do something fun and festive before you break up for Christmas? Then The Ice Factor provides the perfect venue for your club/society celebrations! Our student party package ensures value for money and a memorable night out for you and all your friends, with food and drink options included. Group Bookings

If you simply want to skate, we offer a discount of £1 off each skate ticket for groups of 20 or more. Groups can be a combination of adult, child and concession tickets, but there must be at least 20 to qualify as a group. For more information please call 01653 619169.

Club Bookings

Our club groups package is ideal for clubs, organisations, societies and sports teams made up of children aged 16 and under, giving everyone a magical and memorable experience over the Christmas period. Hundreds of members of cubs and brownies as well as sports teams and more visit The Ice Factor every year.

Parent and Toddler Bookings

York Resident

The Ice Factor is pleased to offer our City residents the chance to skate with a fabulous £2.50 discount per ticket. To qualify for this offer, residents should book their tickets on site at the ticket office and produce their York Card as proof of residency. No other proof will be accepted. The discount applies to weekday sessions only, up to and including 4.45pm session from Monday 22nd November to Monday 13th December. Happy Skating!
